The first retreat I attended with JRNY/ElRehla was the Employment ecosystem retreat in 2018. Back then, Sprints was still just an idea. My interactions with different people in the retreat led to forming multiple collaborations and developing different ideas until I founded Sprints in 2019.

Great experience. It helped me disconnect from day-to-day work routine and connect with many founders on a deeper level and exchange valuable learnings. It is a positive experience that I strongly recommend.

Injaz Egypt approached JRNY/ElRehla to organize an enriching experience for the Startup Egypt 2019 program participants. The camp experience exceeded all expectations. Not only because of the diverse discussions and reflections, but also because the teams came back more responsive to knowledge than before.

The bridge that happens between the accelerator team and the entrepreneurs enrolled in the cycle made a huge difference. There was a chance for us from day one to have a different relationship built on the real essence of the accelerator. It wasn’t a client and business relationship it was more that we are partners in success. I would definitely recommend JRNY/ElRehla format not just for incubators and accelerators but also for anyone working in the business of creating networks and growing these networks for the growth of companies.

There was no bootcamp in our first cycle so every team and every founder worked alone on their own projects although they all had knowledge that could benefit and help others. That’s where we realized the importance of JRNY/ElRehla’s role. - From the first time we worked with them, we saw how much participants got closer to each other and how they are still connected and dedicated to helping and sharing knowledge with each other and with the following cycles. Today, I see many Incubators in Egypt working with ElRehla/JRNY and conducting boot camps with them like MINT incubator.

JRNY/ElRehla was the first push to launch my brand. In 2016, I was chosen as one of the 15 best Middle East fashion designers participating in Project Runway TV show. My brands name started to be one of the most well known, ethnic wear brands in Egypt.

This whole experience was extremely beneficial, especially during the phase we were in. We were only focusing on our business startups but not able to pay as much attention to ourselves, which I believe is an essential balance for our wellbeing. It was also a great chance to get to know the other teams better. It strengthened the bond between us.

It was interesting to get to know both the cycle teams and themanagement team. we bonded on several levels and we had fun.

We have something called founder’s syndrome, where it is very difficult for us to separate ourselves from our business. Taking the decision to go to the beach for 4 days, the first thing that comes to your mind is stress about your work. But JRNY/ElRehla is successful at getting us out of this situation and giving us the possibility to disconnect.
